{"id":1383,"date":"2009-10-19T07:58:07","date_gmt":"2009-10-19T14:58:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bhagwad.com\/blog\/?p=1383"},"modified":"2009-10-19T07:58:07","modified_gmt":"2009-10-19T14:58:07","slug":"men-women-equality-case-postponed-to-3rd-nov-2009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bhagwad.com\/blog\/2009\/rights-and-freedoms\/men-women-equality-case-postponed-to-3rd-nov-2009.html\/","title":{"rendered":"Men Women Equality case &#8211; Postponed to 3rd Nov. 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Just to keep those who are following updated, the case asking the Womanist Organization of India <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bhagwad.com\/blog\/2009\/rights-and-freedoms\/equality-of-men-and-women-proving-it-in-court.html\">to prove that women are equal to men<\/a> in the Bombay HC &#8211; note how I&#8217;m using Bombay not Mumai; I challenge the Shiv Sena to come get me :D &#8211; has been postponed to the <strong>3rd of November 2009<\/strong>. Apparently the case was heard on the 6th of October (I don&#8217;t know why) &#8211; I wasn&#8217;t able to find that out in advance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No idea why it was postponed. I&#8217;m getting the feeling that this happens with most cases. In the future, I may have an abbreviated way of displaying the notice for a postponed case.
