Book Review: Towers of Midnight (Wheel of Time)
“Towers of Midnight” is the penultimate book of the Wheel of Time series. This Book Review doesn’t contain spoilers, but shows how I feel about the nearing of the end of Robert Jordan’s awesome series

Book Review of Battlefield Earth. 3 stars of out 5 for an interesting plot, but horribly underdeveloped characters with the psychological sophistication of infants
The worse of the “Song of Ice and Fire” series. Nothing important happens, the plot doesn’t advance, and the storylines don’t meet. Martin’s book is a waste of time.
Martin plods through half the book before murdering two of the book’s main characters. It gets better after that, but not enough to make up for the boring bits
A boring second book with a ponderous plot and too little real action. I’m not interested in battle scenes in general and the main characters hardly advance at all
“A Game of Thrones” by George R R Martin is the first book in the “Song of Ice and Fire” series. This book review details how I feel about it
The final book of the “Coldfire Trilogy” by C S Friedman. A very creative ending and a complete resolution of all the issues that are created in the first two books – especially the demon Calesta
The Second book of the “Coldfire Trilogy” by C S Friedman. Very good plot pacing and a wonderful fleshing out of the main anti hero Gerald Tarrant. The stage is set for the finale!
This is the first book of the “Coldfire Trilogy” by C S Friedman. “Black Sun Rising” is a pretty cool fantasy series – better than many others I’ve read.
Book review of “The way of all Flesh” by Samuel Butler. I loved this book for its accurate description of how parents exert a complete control over their children’s lives
