Book Review: While Roger Zelazny’s “The Merlin Cycle” of the Chronicles of Amber is an interesting read after the enjoyable first series, it’s not as good.
The Chronicles of Amber is an unusual fantasy story told in the first person. The protagonist Corwin is a well developed character who manages to tell a compelling tale.
Book Review of “Blink” by Malcolm Gladwell. An interesting theory that we must trust our instincts far more than we do. The problem I feel is that people’s prejudices play too big a role for it to be reliable.
The Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson is a mix of good and bad. But since it’s only three books long, you’re not committing yourself to anything very long term.
