Never use dishwashing liquid…

in the dishwasher!

Our first attempt at using the dishwasher. Who needs special detergent right? Why not just use regular dish washing liquid?

Gathering up the suds isn’t enough either :D

That’ll teach us to read what’s written on labels the next time!

  1. Ohhh I did this before. But that's only because I didn't have any dish washing powder, and thought "oh well it couldn't hurt to use dish washing liquid." We all do silly things sometimes. :P

  2. I have also done the same thing when i was in Swainsboro. I was trying to make the dishwasher clean and make it smell good by using the dish washing liquid. Damn it was a mess. And this happend after a day long work of cleaning, cooking and washing. I was trying to give a perfect touch. I was like ..Why Me"?. You are one among many Indians :) who had to go through the same mess.

It really sucks when it happens at the end of a long day doesn't it? :D . To make matters worse, the inside pipes also got blocked and we had to use some vinegar and salt to "kill" the bubbles.

  3. Oh no!!! Poor you.. It is such a pain when these big gadgets don't work!!! I once left the washing machine on through the night, and at 5 am, it was still running. I tried to open the door, which the damn thing actually allowed me to do, and guess what? Our entire kitchen was flooded!!! Phew….

  4. Ha, ha! Been there and done that. Right before meeting in-laws for the first time – we moved fiance from one apartment to the other, set the whole thing up and just as he left for the airport to bring them, newly washed floors were full of bubbles….wooden living room floor…..you name it! My sister and I worked really hard that day.
