  2. So are you feeling superior since your English is better than his? It’s an indictment of India’s education system after 60 years of Congress misrule.

It’s not just the English (though that adds to it). It’s primarily the confused rambling thought process. And man…talk about politicizing everything! Is there anything some people will not blame the Congress for?

They’ve ruled India for virtually all of its independent history, and it’s not like they’ve expressed a desire to stop. They’re responsible for everything because they meddle in everything and refuse to change their defective methods. The education system sucks because Congress Anglophiles simply grafted the Western model upon India without taking into account the fact that India is not Britain, though Congress brown sahibs may want it to be so.

Inflation is rising because they continue to spend more money than they have to give handouts to poor people and keep them poor. India is seen as a “soft state” on the international stage because they refuse to show firmness in the face of Chinese aggression and jihadi fanaticism in favor of minority appeasement. The economy is in the gutter and corruption is rampant because they refuse to privatize and keep the government’s greedy paws off of what should be private business. Hindutva exists because they hate Hindus and love minorities, etc. I can’t see a single thing about Congress’ actions or toxic ideology that hasn’t messed something up.

What “western model” specifically are you referring to?

And do you really think things would have been different if some other party was in power? That we would be living in a land of milk and honey and that poverty, ignorance, caste etc. would have been wiped out by now?

It’s so easy to point a finger at one entity and label them as the single source of all problems. Simple and convenient yes…but also stupid. Things happen because of systemic reasons. And let’s not forget that they were voted into power.

Forget what happened in the past. We’re living in a new age. The age of the Internet and information. So let’s move on from here.

The British model, rather than a modified version of indigenous Indian gurukuls.

“And do you really think things would have been different if some other party was in power? That we would be living in a land of milk and honey and that poverty, ignorance, caste etc. would have been wiped out by now?”

No, of course not. The other parties are products of the culture of corruption created by the Congress. They suffer from the same faults, but it is the Congress that is the ideological root of all of this. They set the bar so low its underground.

“It’s so easy to point a finger at one entity and label them as the single source of all problems. Simple and convenient yes…but also stupid. Things happen because of systemic reasons. And let’s not forget that they were voted into power.”

Sure. Congress’ corruption and ineptitude is certainly systemic; it indicates that nepotism, greed, and indifference has saturated the party and leaked to the others, poisoning the Indian body politic. This ideological cancer must be excised if India is to be healthy again.

The only way anyone can move on from anything is by fixing the mistakes of the past, which involves REMEMBERING it, not forgetting it.

  5. If a mistake was made in the past, you can fix it in the present by countering the influence of that which was done in the past. In this case, you can fix the mistakes made by the Congress party by voting them out of office thereby reversing the influence of their disastrous policies by starting new ones.
