Many Indians have a retarded conception of marriage that is at odds with the rest of the civilized world.
Merely at the request of some random father, an entire squad of people violated the privacy of not just the girl, but her friends and family as well.
As usual, we’re protesting over something that makes fun of us. This satire article has a grain (and only a grain) of truth to it. Which is why it hits us
Some people demonstrate that they don’t deserve the blessing of civilization. I’m thinking of a return to the idea of banishment.
For most Indians, rights need to be “earned”. They talk about duties and responsibilities as if rights are contingent upon them. This simply untrue.
I don’t believe that being drunk automatically invalidates consent for sex. It’s not rape if the person was conscious and didn’t indicate “no”.
As the Muzaffarnagar riots demonstrate, a lot of people think in terms of “Us vs Them”. This powerful clannish group culture needs to be changed.
If only all our woes had such easy solutions!
Any guy who attempts to kiss a girl like this deserves to get slapped. No one has the right to just assume that a girl will respond positively.
